Funny enough, that post from Angie was one of the first times I found her and I thought it was such a brilliant way to show how to create versatility in a dress. I LOVED this visual exercise you did and- obviously- loved the Midimalist shout out. That red dress on you is GORGEOUS.

I just came across this post and it's including so many styling ideas I have for the two weddings I'm attending this summer (funky bag is a must!). Love the red dress on you, too!

This couldn't have come at a better time for me! I have a fancy work event coming up and I was really dreading buying (or honestly even renting) an item for one-time wear. I'm hoping to find something like a black slip dress I can rinse and repeat and restyle. Great inspo here as always!!

Yes!! Big fan of not buying anything for summer weddings (probably because there’s already so so much $$ associated with wedding attendance by the time you actually GET to the day of the wedding lol) but I definitely get sick of my same old same old pieces. TY, this is def the nudge I needed to rethink how I am styling them so they feel fresh!

That red dress looks stunning on you, Maureen! Solid colour dresses with interesting details are workhorses in any wardrobe, I feel. They can be dressed up or dressed down and they look amazing when you change up the shoes or accessories or topper. 💕

Love this, thank you.

I love the orange dress on you! And the combo of the clashing bag and the tried and true dress, it’s the best to have a go-to party dress.

Great ideas, Maureen! I’ll be styling a navy linen midi dress with beige ankle strap sandals and a pewter handbag - if I have a Summer wedding. An outfit inspired by your post!

Don't have any weddings coming up, but quite like your old floral dress with the new clutch.
