Year in Review: My best and least best purchases of 2024

Not every clothing purchase can be great. No matter how hard we try to make informed, smart decisions, some purchases are going to flop. And, these are great purchases to learn from.

Today I’m sharing some lessons learned from the year, to encourage you to reflect on your best and worst purchases, too.

Fitted white tees

Over the last year, in particular, I’ve noticed that I reach for white or light neutral tops over any other color. All of my layering pieces (sweaters, cardigans, denim jacket, puffer jacket, etc.) look great with a white or light neutral top underneath, making it easy to layer for the weather and activity. Spending a bit more on high-quality versions of these means that I feel great wearing the same items day after day.
